I want my word-mark to reflect them too and get people excited to read the rest of my resume. After exploring several ideas, I decided to use my full nickname “modi” for the word-mark. I reduced the kerning between the “o” and “d” so they feel visually connected and tightened the overall tracking between letters while still leaving slight separation, To show some of the creativity i chose to add a deep purple color and exclamation mark that is really the ‘i’ rotated upside down. I think it brings the emphasis of my nickname out and will encourage them to call me ‘modi’. I also included my full name below the word-mark and increased the leading to clearly show the distinction between the two names, while still showing they’re connected and refer to the same person.
